I saw the Movie and will buy the Video when it comes out. it is very accurate and covers many Issues such as the Blood atonement and plural marriage. Please share your thoughts about the Movie, if you have seen it. Rick b

I went to see this movie, last saturday night. At times, the acting was kinda over the top---but the story line was very good, although I think the love story detracted from the main theme of the movie, which is the Mountain Meadow Massacre.
It is a sad part of our American history, and needs to be remembered. I encourage every one to see it if they have the chance.
I left the movie theatre so sad that this had ever happened.
I live in Utah, and I have no doubt that this movie will not have a large audience waiting to see it. There were perhaps maybe a dozen people including myself in the theatre, and contrary to what the local newpaper movie critic has written, no one was laughing, no one was walking out, and no one was making rude remarks.

I saw the movie when it came out and it was very accurate. My husband and I were one of three couples in the theater. That is sad. The movie made me angry because I grew up in Cedar City, Utah near where it happened and the people in that small town never gave it the time of day.
